Easter Egg Hunts
In case you missed the previous post
Sat April 7 – 8 to 11 am – Spring into Easter at the Market. Easter Egg Hunt for children ages 12 and younger. Visit from the Easter Bunny from 9 to 11 am. Anyone older than 12 , wearing bunny ears might earn a special treat. Hagerstown City Market, 24 W Church St, Hagerstown, Go to www.hagerstownmarket.org for more information.
Sat April 7 -10 am- Williamsport Fire and EMS will sponsor an Easter Egg Hunt at Bryon Memorial Park, off US Rt 11, Williamsport. For more information call 301-223-9112
Saturday April 7 – Registration starts at Noon, Hunt Starts at 1 pm. New Beginning Community Church, corner of Dual Hwy and Beaver Creek Rd. This hunt will have 5000 eggs which will contain various prizes with 1 egg holding a $100 bill. 4 age groups – 2-3 yrs, 4-5 yrs, 6-8 yrs, 9-12 yrs. For more information call 301-393-5411
Sat April 7 – 1 to 2:30 pm – Easter Egg Hunt at Fort Ritchie Community Center, 14421 Lake Royer Dr, Cascade.
Sat April 7 – 5:30 for egg Hunt – which is free for kids 12 and under– Egg Race will begin with warm ups at 7 pm at the Hagerstown Speedway, 15112 National Pike, Hagerstown. Planned events – displays of late-model series, late-model sportsman, pure stocks and hobby stocks . Sun April 8 – 12:30 pm – American Legion Clopper-Michael Post No 10 will sponsor their annual Easter egg hunt. Open to children pre-school through 6th grade. Shafer Park, 37 Park Drive, Boonsboro
Civil War Lecture
WHEN and WHAT TIME: Saturday.
WHERE: Antietam National Battlefield Visitor Center, off Sharpsburg Pike, Sharpsburg
WHAT YOU’LL SEE: This Saturday is Tennessee Day, and as part of the year long salute to every state that had troops in the Battle of Antietam, Park Ranger Matt Atkinson will give a talk about the Battle of Shiloh at 11 am and Archer’s Brigade in the Maryland Campaign at 2 pm

WHERE: Hagerstown City Farmers Market, 25 W Franklin St, Hagerstown
WHAT YOU’LL SEE: Master Gardens will give information on garden planning. Visitors may also ask questions about plants or insects and bring samples for identification. Have samples in clean sealed plastic bags.
COST: This event is free and open to the public

WHAT YOU’LL SEE: “Microscopy Images You Can Not See” in the Vision Center at 2pm
COST: Free with paid admission of $5 to $7, free for ages 3 and younger
