18th Century Market Fair
WHEN and WHAT TIME: Friday and Saturday from 9 am to 5 pm, and Sunday from 9 am to 3 pm.
WHERE: Fort Frederick State Park, 11100 Fort Frederick Rd, Big Pool
WHAT YOU’LL SEE: Fort Frederick State Park will host an 18th Century Market Fair this weekend. Planned activities include artisans, craftspeople, sutlers and an 18th century encampment.
COST: Admission is $3; ages 6 to 12 $3, and free for ages 5 and younger.

Trains for everyone
WHEN and WHAT TIME: Friday, Saturday and Sunday 1 to 5 pm
WHERE: Hagerstown Roundhouse Museum, 300 S Burhans Blvd Hagerstown
WHAT YOU’LL SEE: Displays including HO scale model railroad, trains for kids to operate, historic railroad equipment, artifacts and photos
COST: Admission is $4; .50 cents for ages 4 to 12 and free for ages 3 and younger

Public Star Party
WHEN and WHAT TIME: Friday and Saturday from 7:30 to 11pm
WHERE: Antietam National Battlefield Visitor Center is located at 5831 Dunker Church Rd, Sharpsburg.
WHAT YOU’LL See: The Tri State Astronomers will host a public star party. Telescopes will be set up for the public to view the night sky. But keep in mind the event will be canceled if it is cloudy.
COST: Free admission

“Beauty and the Beast”
WHEN and WHAT TIME: Shows are scheduled for 7:30 pm on Fridays April 27 and May 4 and Saturday April 28 and May 5; and 2:30 pm on Sunday April 29 and May 6.
WHERE: Maryland Theatre, 21 S Potomac St, Hagerstown
WHAT YOU’LL SEE: Barbara Ingram School of the Arts students will present Disney’s “Beauty and the Beast.”
COST: Tickets are $10 to $25

Faire on the Square
WHEN and WHAT TIME: Saturday 9 am to 2 pm
WHERE: Public Square in downtown Hagerstown
WHAT YOU’LL SEE: Welcome spring! The event will feature artisan vendors, local produce vendors, entertainment and more. Each month a nonprofit will be the beneficiary of the event. April event’s will benefit Easter Seals Adult Day Services.
COST: Admission is free but bring money to shop

Magic and your eyes

COST: Free with paid admission of $5 to $7, free for ages 3 and younger
