Trains for Everyone
WHEN and WHAT TIME: Friday, Saturday and Sunday 1 to 5 pm
WHERE: Hagerstown Roundhouse Museum, 300 S Burhans Blvd Hagerstown.
WHAT YOU’LL SEE: Displays include HO scale model railroad, trains for kids to operate, historic railroad equipment, artifacts and photos
COST: Admission is $4 50 cents for ages 4 to 12 and free for ages 3 and younger ,

A Night at the Movies
WHEN and WHAT TIME: Friday 5 to 11 pm
WHERE: Bryon Memorial Park in Williamsport
WHAT YOU’LL SEE: Stop by for food, bingo, amusements and rides.
COST: Free admission but bring money for food, rides and activities
   
 
Relay For Life Of Southern Washington County
WHEN and WHAT TIME: Friday 7 pm to 7 am
WHERE: Agricultural Education Center, 7313 Sharpsburg Pike, south of Hagerstown
WHAT YOU’LL SEE: This is the first year for this event. Planned activities – opening ceremonies, luminaries ceremony, activities for kids, yard sale and other on site fundraisers.
COST: Admission is free

Kids night out
WHEN and WHAT TIME: Friday 6 pm to 11 pm
WHERE: The Academy Theater, 58 E Washington St , Hagerstown
WHAT YOU’LL SEE: Two movies will be shown in addition to snacks, games and prizes. This event is for aged 7 to 16. And proceeds benefit Hagerstown Children’s Theater
COST: $10 per person

Canal Boat Tours
WHEN and WHAT TIME: Saturdays and Sundays 10:30 am, 12:15, 1:30 and 3 pm through summer
WHERE: C&O Canal Williamsport Visitor Center, 205 W Potomac St Williamsport
WHAT YOU’LL SEE: The Chesapeake and Ohio National Historical Park offers canal launch boat tours from Cusha Basin to Lock 44
COST: Admission free, first come, first serve

Barge Bash
WHEN and WHAT TIME: Saturday 10 am
WHERE: C& O Canal at Western Maryland Rail Trail Parking Lot in downtown Hancock
WHAT YOU’LL SEE: This annual event features homemade barges floating down the Potomac River
COST: Free to attend

Free Concert
WHEN and WHAT TIME: Saturday 4:30 pm
WHERE: Hagerstown Community College Amphitheater, 11400 Robinwood Dr, east of Hagertown
WHAT YOU’LL SEE: As part of the Red, White and Blue Concert series The Air National Guard Band of Mid-Atlantic will perform. Concessions will be sold at each performance by the HCC Alumni Association.
COST: Free

Banjo Concert
WHEN and WHAT TIME: Saturday 5 to 7 pm
WHERE: Pry House Field Hospital Museum’s Barn, 18906 Shepherdstown Pike, Sharpsburg
WHAT YOU’LL SEE: Early American style banjoists will present a banjo concert. All proceeds benefit the National Museum of Civil War Medicine.
COST: $5 ; $3 children younger than 15

Free Movie
WHEN and WHAT TIME: Saturday 7 pm
WHERE: Bridge of Life – 14 S Potomac St, Hagerstown
WHAT YOU’LL SEE: They will present “The Secret World of Arrietty”

 

The Clock family are four-inch-tall people who live anonymously in another family’s residence, borrowing simple items to make their home. Life changes for the Clocks when their daughter, Arrietty, is discovered.

 

Come and enjoy the movie along with free popcorn and drink. All movies are shown on a large projection screen with high quality sound in the old Maryland historic theater located in downtown Hagerstown right off the square.  Rated G

Boonsboro Historical Society Open House
WHEN and WHAT TIME: Sunday 2 to 4 pm
WHERE: Boonsboro Historical Society, 323 N Main St , Boonsboro
WHAT YOU’LL SEE: Denny Warrenfeltz will demonstrate how early settlers prepared picnic food on the open hearth plus Bowman pottery and house tours

WHEN and WHAT TIME: Sunday  4:30 pm
WHERE: HCC’s Alumni Amphitheater, off Robinwood Dr, East of Hagerstown
