Free Concert
WHEN and WHAT TIME: Friday at 6:30 pm
WHERE: HCC’s Alumni Amphitheater, off Robinwood Dr, East of Hagerstown
WHAT YOU’LL SEE: As part of the Red, White and Blue Concert series – The 257th Army Band aka The Band of the Nation’s Capital will perform. Concessions will be sold at each performance by the HCC Alumni Association.

Trains for Everyone
WHEN and WHAT TIME: Friday, Saturday and Sunday 1 to 5 pm
WHERE: Hagerstown Roundhouse Museum, 300 S Burhans Blvd Hagerstown.
WHAT YOU’LL SEE: Displays include HO scale model railroad, trains for kids to operate, historic railroad equipment, artifacts and photos
COST: Admission is $4 50 cents for ages 4 to 12 and free for ages 3 and younger ,

History Lesson
WHEN and WHAT TIME: Saturday and Sunday 10 am to 4 pm
WHERE: Fort Frederick State Park, 11100 Fort Frederick Road, Big Pool
WHAT YOU’LL SEE: Members of the recreated Joshua Beall’s Company, fort staff and volunteers will garrison the fort. Musket and artillery firing presentations, laundry and hearth coking demonstrations, a uniform and clothing talk, a ranging party, and children’s military drills
COST: Admission is $3, $2 for ages 6 to 13 and free for 5 and younger

Canal Boat Tours
WHEN and WHAT TIME: Saturdays and Sundays 10:30 am, 12:15, 1:30 and 3 pm through summer
WHERE: C&O Canal Williamsport Visitor Center, 205 W Potomac St Williamsport
WHAT YOU’LL SEE: The Chesapeake and Ohio National Historical Park offers canal launch boat tours from Cusha Basin to Lock 44
COST: Admission free, first come, first serve

Retreat Thorough Williamsport
WHEN and WHAT TIME: Friday, Saturday and Sunday
WHERE: Spring field Barn, Cushwa Basin and Riverbottom Park
WHAT YOU’LL SEE: Tons of activities are schedule go to www.williamsportretreat.com for all the details.
COST: Admission is free to most things but free will donations may be accepted. There will be vendors onsite selling food and event related items.
 
Gardens, Berries and Bread
WHEN and WHAT TIME: Saturday 1 to 4 pm
WHERE: Washington County Rural Heritage Museum, Sharpsburg Pike South of Hagerstown
WHAT YOU’LL SEE: Meet Master Gardeners at the German Four Square Garden to learn about berries and their will be a basket making activity for children. The Rural Heritage Museum Bread Guild will demonstrate artisan bread baking at the outdoor beard oven.

Tractor Pull
WHEN and WHAT TIME: Saturday 6 pm
WHERE: Washington County Agricultural Center, 7313 Sharpsburg Pike, south of Hagerstown
WHAT YOU’LL SEE: Lucas Oil East Coast Pullers and Washington County Tractor Pullers will host a national truck and tractor pull. Classes include super stock/pro stock tractors, super modified two wheel drive trucks, modified four wheel drive trucks, and multi engine super modified truck. Rain date. 2pm Sunday
COST: Admission is $15 free for 10 and younger

See Airplanes
WHEN and WHAT TIME: Sunday 1 to 4 pm
WHERE: Hagerstown Aircraft Services, 14235 Oak Springs Rd Hagerstown
WHAT YOU’LL SEE: Hagerstown Aviation Museum invites the public to step inside some aircraft from its collection, including Fairchild C-82 and C-119 Flying Boxcar.
