Trains for Everyone
WHEN and WHAT TIME: Friday, Saturday and Sunday 1 to 5 pm
WHERE: Hagerstown Roundhouse Museum, 300 S Burhans Blvd Hagerstown.
WHAT YOU’LL SEE: Displays include HO scale model railroad, trains for kids to operate, historic railroad equipment, artifacts and photos
COST: Admission is $4 50 cents for ages 4 to 12 and free for ages 3 and younger ,

Wheat Program and bread baking demo
WHEN and WHAT TIME: Saturday Noon t o3pm
WHERE: Washington Count y Rural Heritage Museum, 7313 Sharpsburg Pike, South of Hagerstown
WHAT YOU’LL SEE: “From Wheat to Bread” will show the process of turning wheat kernels into flour. Master Baker Bill Theriault and the bread baking guild will have an artisan bread baking demonstration. Artisan bread will be available for purchase. Visitors will have the opportunity to craft a traditional wheat harvest ornament.
COST: Free admission bread is $5 limited quantity

Convoy of Hope
WHEN and WHAT TIME: Saturday starting at 10 am
WHERE: Hagerstown Fairgrounds, 351 N Cleveland Ave.
WHAT YOU’LL SEE: Sponsored by Hope for Hagerstown, the event will give out 30,000 pounds of groceries, plus offer a job and health fair, family photos, entertainment, hot lunch, access to community resources, kids fair with inflatable, entertainment, food and prizes.

Wings & Wheels
WHEN and WHAT TIME: Saturday 9 am  to 4 pm
WHERE: Hagerstown Regional Airport, 18434 Showalter Rd, Hagerstown
WHAT YOU’LL SEE: Hagerstown Aviation Museum and Hagerstown Regional Airport will host an open house. Antique planes and cars will be on display.
COST: Free but donations will be accepted

Hagerstown Corn Maze
WHEN and WHAT TIME: Saturday from Noon to 10 pm, and Sundays (noon to 5 pm thur October
WHERE: Celebration Farm, 17638 Garden View Rd, Hagerstown.
WHAT YOU’LL SEE: This year they have 3 mazes – Heart of the Civil War, Hagerstown Suns, and Home Run the Movie. Don’t forget to bring a flashlight for the moonlight mazes. All profits are donated to local faith-based non profits.
COST: Cost is $6, $3 for ages 5 to 12, and free for children 4 and younger.

Mike Kline Memorial Car Show and Bike Bash
WHEN and WHAT TIME: Saturday 11 am
WHERE: Cancun Cantina West, 901 Dual Highway, Hagerstown
WHAT YOU’LL SEE: Features antiques, tuners, imports, race cars, classics and motorcycles.
COST: $2 admission for spectators  and $20 to enter a vehicles which includes a t-shirt

Emancipation Proclamation
WHEN and WHAT TIME: Saturday and Sunday
WHERE: Antietam Battlefield , Sharpsburg
WHAT YOU’LL SEE: 150th Commemoration of President Abraham Lincoln’s issuance of the preliminary emancipation proclamation. Speakers, youth activities and programs, including presentation by the 54th Massachusetts Infantry living history group. Additional living history programs and firing demonstrations by the 40th Pennsylvania Infantry.
COST: $4 a person or $6 a family

Pen Mar Park Concerts
WHEN and WHAT TIME: Sunday  2 to 5 pm
WHERE: Pen Mar Park, off Pen Mar High Rock Road, Cascade
WHAT YOU’LL SEE: The Josh Tindall Combo is  schedule to perform
COST: Admission is free

Hub City Opera presents  ‘The Magic Flute”
WHEN and WHAT TIME: Sunday at 3 pm and Friday September 28 and Saturday September 29 at 7:30 pm
WHERE: Hagerstown Community Colleges’ Kepler Auditorium, 11400 Robinwood Drive, east of Hagerstown.
WHAT YOU’LL SEE: The Hub City Opera will present “The Magic Flute” this Sunday at 3 pm.

This is a fairy tale of a prince, a half man- half bird, the Queen of Night and a quest to rescue the Queen’s daughter. This is one of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’s most popular musical stories. All the dialogue is in English, but they choose to keep the original songs in Germany. They will project the English subtitles above the stage.

COST: Advance tickets are $20; students and seniors are $15.
