Trains for Everyone
WHEN and WHAT TIME: Friday, Saturday and Sunday 1 to 5 pm
WHERE: Hagerstown Roundhouse Museum, 300 S Burhans Blvd Hagerstown.
WHAT YOU’LL SEE: Displays include HO scale model railroad, trains for kids to operate, historic railroad equipment, artifacts and photos
COST: Admission is $4 50 cents for ages 4 to 12 and free for ages 3 and younger

Hagerstown Corn Maze
WHEN and WHAT TIME: Saturday from Noon to 10 pm, and Sundays (noon to 5 pm thur October
WHERE: Celebration Farm, 17638 Garden View Rd, Hagerstown.
WHAT YOU’LL SEE: This year they have 3 mazes – Heart of the Civil War, Hagerstown Suns, and Home Run the Movie. Don’t forget to bring a flashlight for the moonlight mazes. All profits are donated to local faith-based non profits.
COST: Cost is $6, $3 for ages 5 to 12, and free for children 4 and younger.

Hills of Horror
WHEN and WHAT TIME: Saturday  in October 8 pm to 11pm
WHERE: Happy Hills Campground, 12617 Seavolt Rd, Hancock, MD
WHAT YOU’LL SEE: Barn of Endless Souls & Forbidden Forest. Also has a Children’s maze with adult supervision, Free hot chocolate or coffee, hot food available to purchase and entertainment by live DJ.

Ivy Hill Farm Festival
WHEN and WHAT TIME: Saturday   9-5 and Sunday 11-5
WHERE: 13840 Smithsburg Pike, Smithsburg
WHAT YOU’LL SEE: Stop by for good food, apples, freshly pressed cider, pumpkins, mums, and gourds. Apple butter boiling on Saturday and Sunday, crafts, animals on display, pumpkin patch, Michael T the Magician from 11 to 1 pm both days

Community Shred and Prescription drug turn in
WHEN and WHAT TIME: Saturday  9 am to 1 pm
WHERE: Premium Outlets, 495 Premium Outlets Blvd, Hagerstown
WHAT YOU’LL SEE: The Washington County Sheriff’s office will host this event. This event provides citizens the opportunity to property dispose of sensitive documents and unwanted medications in a safe and secure manner. The shredding service is for residential /personal documents only with a three document box maximum per household.
COST: Free
   
 
Funkstown Fire Company Open House
WHEN and WHAT TIME: Saturday  10am – 3 pm
WHERE: Funkstown Volunteer Fire Company
WHAT YOU’LL SEE: Includes a day of fun and learning for all ages. Children’s firefighter challenge, fire truck rides, Child ID program, fire trucks, ambulances, Bomb squad robot, Police, MD DNR and Smokey the Bear, Sparky the Fire Dog, Helicopter, demonstrations and much more. Hot dogs and drinks will be available for free.

Williamsport WWII Weekend
WHEN and WHAT TIME: Saturday from 9 am to 5 pm and Sunday from 9 am to 4 pm
WHERE: Springfield Barn and Bryon Memorial Park
WHAT YOU’LL SEE: Williamsport will take a trip back in time this weekend with the WWII Weekend. The event will run and will feature German and Allied re-enactors, camps and vehicles.

Saturday’s highlights include Springfield Bar and Grill opening, guest speakers and unit demonstrations from noon to 2 pm; 1940’s fashion show at 2 pm; Battle at 3 pm; Abbott and Costello in Springfield Barn 4 to 4:20pm.

Sunday’s highlights include church service in Springfield Barn at 10 am, guest speakers and unit demonstrations 11 am to 1 pm; Battle at 1 pm; Williamsport Town Band at 3 pm.

Hagerstown Harvest Hoedown
WHEN and WHAT TIME: Saturday from 1 to 4 pm
WHERE: Hagerstown Fairground Park, off Cannon Ave, Hagerstown.
WHAT YOU’LL SEE: Planned activities are music by Country Showcase of American Jamboree, Pony and Hay rides, pumpkin and face painting, city market vendors, Washington County Antique Tractor Club, barrel rides, petting zoo, balloon giveaways, and a cake walk.
COST: Free admission

Field of Terrors
WHEN and WHAT TIME: Fridays and Saturday from 7 to 11 pm from October 12 through October 20.
WHERE: Star Community Inc is located 13672 Greencastle Pike, Hagerstown.
WHAT YOU’LL SEE: Star Community Inc is proud to present “Field of Terrors”

They have 2 fields to choose from and they might not be suited for young child.

COST: Tickets are $6 per field or $10 for a combined tickets or $15 for a VIP ticket which gets you moved to the front of the line.

Halloween Bash
WHEN and WHAT TIME: Saturday 6 to 8 pm
WHERE: Presbyterian Church of Hagerstown, 20 S. Prospect St, Hagerstown
WHAT YOU’LL SEE:  For children ages 3 through 5th grades they will have activities including prizes and candy for best costumes and games; 6th to 8th graders will have dancing, movies, prizes and candy for best costumes.
COST The event is free and open to the public.

Winefest Harvest Festival
WHEN and WHAT TIME: Saturday The gates open at 11 am and the event runs noon to 6 pm.
WHERE: Knob Hall Winery, 14108 St Paul Rd, Clear Spring
WHAT YOU’LL SEE: Knob Hall Winery is pleased to present Winestock Harvest Festival. Wine, food, crafts, hayrides and music are on tap for this event. Schedule to perform are On the Bus, Jah Works, and Kim Cameron and Side FX.
COST: Admission is $20 a person and includes a wine glass and tasting; $15 for ages 13 to 20 and free fro children younger than 13.

Sharpsburg Ghost Tours
WHEN and WHAT TIME: Thursday through Nov 1 between 6:30 – 7
WHERE: Meet at Capitian Benders, downtown Sharpsburg
WHAT YOU’LL SEE: Stroll through downtown Sharpsburg and listen to ghost tales. Portion to benefit Sharpsburg Heritage Festival.
COST: Tickets are $10 and reservation requested
