Christmas Trains for Everyone
WHEN and WHAT TIME: Friday, Saturday and Sunday 1 to 5 pm
WHERE: Hagerstown Roundhouse Museum, 300 S Burhans Blvd Hagerstown.
WHAT YOU’LL SEE: Christmas O gauge display will open this weekend Displays include HO scale model railroad, trains for kids to operate, historic railroad equipment, artifacts and photos
COST: Admission is $4;  50 cents for ages 4 to 12 and free for ages 3 and younger

Free Movie
WHEN and WHAT TIME: Friday at 7 pm
WHERE: Smithsburg Library is located at 66 w Water St, Smithsburg.
WHAT YOU’LL SEE: The Smithsburg Library will be showing “Brave” Brave is a movie about a young girl who is determined to carve her own path in life and defies an age old custom and is granted an ill-fated wish.
COST: Free

Rose Hill tree lighting and candlelight walk
WHEN and WHAT TIME: Friday 7 pm
WHERE: Rose Hill Cemetery, 600 S Potomac St Hagerstown
WHAT YOU’LL SEE: Come and include the quiet remembrances, refreshments, music and a trolley ride
COST: Free
 
Breakfast with Santa and Friends
WHEN and WHAT TIME: Saturday 10:30 until noon
WHERE: Academy Theatre is located at 58 E Washington St, downtown Hagerstown.
WHAT YOU’LL SEE: What a special treat – Breakfast with Santa, Frosty, Rudolph, Mrs. Claus and the elves. Tickets include a breakfast buffet, times with our holiday friends, special holiday show, crafts and activities.
COST: Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for children

Breakfast with Santa
WHEN and WHAT TIME: Saturday 11:30 am
WHERE: Smithsburg Library, 66 W Water St, Smithsburg
WHAT YOU’LL SEE: Sponsored by the Miss Smithsburg Scholarship Organization, join them for breakfast and story time with Santa. Photographs will also be taken with Santa by the 12 foot Christmas tree
COST: Free

Christmas Star
WHEN and WHAT TIME: Saturday 2pm
WHERE: Discovery Station, 101 W Washington St, Hagerstown
WHAT YOU’LL SEE: Rodney Martin, planetarium educator will present “Christmas Star”
COST: Program is free with admission Tickets: $$7 adults; $5 seniors (over 55) and military, Ages 4-17 $6

Free Movie
WHEN and WHAT TIME: Saturday at 3 pm
WHERE: Hancock War Memorial Library, 220 Park Rd, Hancock
WHAT YOU’LL SEE: They will be showing “Arthur Christmas”. They will also have refreshments.
COST: The movie is free but they ask that you register in advance.

Festival of Lights
WHEN and WHAT TIME: Saturday 3:30 pm
WHERE: Cedar Lawn Memorial Park, 17636 W Washington St, Hagerstown.
WHAT YOU’LL SEE: There will be reflections, a performance by the Clear Spring High School Show Choir and light refreshments.  Rain date is Sunday at 3:30 pm.
COST: Free

Luminaries
WHEN and WHAT TIME: Saturday 6 to 10 pm
WHERE: Widemeyer Park, Park Road, Hancock.
WHAT YOU’LL SEE: Hundreds of luminaries will light up the night in honor of the veterans and those who serve.
COST: Free

Free Movie
WHEN and WHAT TIME: Saturday at 7 pm
WHERE: St John’s United Church of Christ, 211 E Cumberland St, Clear Spring
WHAT YOU’LL SEE: They will be showing “The Fourth Wise Man” in their social hall.
COST: Free
 
Living Nativity
WHEN and WHAT TIME: Saturday and Sunday 6 and 7 pm
WHERE: St Andrew’s Presbyterian Church, 10813 Donelson Dr Williamsport
WHAT YOU’LL SEE: Children and youth will present the story of the Nativity as traditional and contemporary Christmas music plays in the background. Live animals are included
COST: Free

Christmas Traditions and Stars
WHEN and WHAT TIME: Tuesdays at 7 pm Last week
WHERE: Washington County Board of Education, 820 Commonwealth Ave, Hagerstown
WHAT YOU’LL SEE: ‘Tis the Season is the theme of this month’s program at the William Brish Planetarium. During this program they will examine many of the seasonal customs based on light, as well as winter holiday traditions, including Yule, greenery, Santa and the Christmas Star.

The Planetarium is located at the. If schools are closed or dismissed early, the planetarium will be closed.

COST: Tickets are $3 for adults, $2 for students and children, free for seniors citizens with a Gold Car from Washington County Public Schools. Families will pay a maximum of $10.
