Trains for Everyone
WHEN and WHAT TIME: Friday, Saturday 1 to 5 pm
WHERE: Hagerstown Roundhouse Museum, 300 S Burhans Blvd Hagerstown.
WHAT YOU’LL SEE: Displays include HO scale model railroad, trains for kids to operate, historic railroad equipment, artifacts and photos
COST: Admission is $4;  50 cents for ages 4 to 12 and free for ages 3 and younger

Easter Bunny visits
WHEN and WHAT TIME: Bunny hours are Monday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. through Saturday, March 30.
WHERE: Valley Mall
WHAT YOU’LL SEE: The Easter Bunny is hanging out  at Center Court at Valley Mall. Each child visiting the Bunny will receive an Easter coloring storybook.
COST: Free to see the Easter Bunny but pictures are extra
Gymkana Troupe
WHEN and WHAT TIME: 7 p.m. Friday, March 29
WHERE: Hagerstown Community College’s Athletic, Recreation and Community Center, Robinwood Drive, east of Hagerstown.
WHAT YOU’LL SEE: Gymkana Troupe from the University of Maryland will perform their gymnastics and circus acts
COST: Tickets are just $1 per person

Easter Egg Overload!

Easter Egg hunts are being held all over the place this weekend! Take the kids and have a blast!

  • Lifehouse Church hosts event open to children 12 and younger Saturday, March 30. Event starts at 10 a.m. Ages 1 to 4 will participate from 10 to 10:30 a.m. Those in kindergarten through third grade will participate from 10:45 to 11:15 a.m. Fourth- and fifth-graders from 11:30 a.m. to noon.   • Williamsport Fire and EMS will sponsor an Easter egg hunt at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 30, at Byron Memorial Park, off U.S. 11, Williamsport. Call 301-223-9112.

  • American Legion Clopper-Michael Post No. 10 sponsors annual Easter egg hunt. For ages pre-school through sixth grade. Hunt is at 1 p.m. Saturday, March 30, at Shafer Park, 37 Park Drive, Boonsboro. Free.

Space Cowboys

WHERE: Discovery Station, 101 W. Washington St., downtown Hagerstown.
WHAT YOU’LL SEE: Neal Bachtell will discuss “Space Exploration”
COST: Free with admission fee of $5 to $7

WHEN and WHAT TIME: 7 p.m. Saturday, March 30
WHERE: Bridge of Life, 14 S. Potomac St., downtown Hagerstown.
WHAT YOU’LL SEE: A live action movie about a young man and a tiger stuck together on a life boat will be shown. Free popcorn and soda too

Strength of Strings with Friends
WHEN and WHAT TIME: 4 to 11 p.m. Saturday, March 30
WHERE: Funkstown American Legion ballroom, 12 N. Westside Ave., Funkstown
WHAT YOU’LL SEE:  A benefit for Jeff Fignar will include live music, special acts, silent auction and more. All proceeds will go toward a trust fund for Jeff’s son, Drake. Entertainment includes Strength of Strings Family Jam, Speakeasy Boys, Brokedown Hustlers, Boomtown Hoops and Sticky Longfingers and the Rusted Butter.
COST: $5 minimum donation.
