Trains for Everyone
WHEN and WHAT TIME: Friday, Saturday and Sunday 1 to 5 pm
WHERE: Hagerstown Roundhouse Museum, 300 S Burhans Blvd Hagerstown.
WHAT YOU’LL SEE: Displays include HO scale model railroad, trains for kids to operate, historic railroad equipment, artifacts and photos
COST: Admission is $4;  50 cents for ages 4 to 12 and free for ages 3 and younger

Hagerstown Railroad Museum and Engine 202
WHEN and WHAT TIME: Friday and Saturday from 10 am to 4 pm
WHERE: City Park, 525 Highland Way, Hagerstown
WHAT YOU’LL SEE: Hagerstown Railroad Museum features an outstanding collection of railroad memorabilia to please enthusiasts of all ages. Steam Locomotive Engine 202 is the crown jewel in this wide-ranging collection
COST: No admission fee but donations accepted

AAUW Used Book Sale
WHEN and WHAT TIME: Friday 9 am to 8 pm and Saturday from 9 am to 3 pm
WHERE: The ARC of Washington County, 1000 Florida Ave, Hagerstown
WHAT YOU’LL SEE: American Association of University Women will host this used book sale. Books will be discounted on Saturday. Proceeds will provide scholarships for local students and to the Washington County Free Library for educational programs

 “Cats” the musical
WHEN and WHAT TIME: Friday April 19 at 7:30 pm, Saturday April 20 at 2 pm and 7:30 pm
WHERE: Williamsport High School auditorium, 5 S Clifton Dr, Williamsport
WHAT YOU’LL SEE: Williamsport High School Choral Department will present Andrew Lloyd Webber’s musical “Cats”  All proceeds benefit WHS Choral Boosters.
COST: Tickets are $10; $7 for students and senior citizens.

“The Importance of Being Earnest”
WHEN and WHAT TIME: Friday and Saturday at 7:30 pm
WHERE: Boonsboro High School, 10 Campus Ave, Boonsboro
WHAT YOU’LL SEE: The Drama department will present the Americanized version of “The Importance of Being Earnest” by Oscar Wilde. In the early 20th century, two mean unwittingly assume the same identify and fins it impossible to marry the women of their choice.

Public Star Party
WHEN and WHAT TIME: Friday and Saturday from 7 to 11 pm
WHERE: Antietam Battlefield National Battlefield Visitor Center, near the parking lot, 5831 Dunker Church Rd, Sharpsburg
WHAT YOU’LL SEE: Tristate Astrometry  will present a public star party. Telescopes will be set up for public observing throughout the evening

The Sound of Music

WHERE: The Academny Theater 58 E Washington St Hagerstown
WHAT YOU’LL SEE: The Walker Performing Arts group presents the story of a young nun who becomes a governess for the children of a Naval Officer widower – with a cast ranging in age from kindergarten to adults.
COST: Tickets are $15 for adults and $12 for children and seniors

Severe Weather
WHEN and WHAT TIME: Saturday from 1 to 2 pm
WHERE: Discovery Station, 101 W Washington St, Hagerstown
WHAT YOU’LL SEE: Brittany Beggs, HMTV6 Meteorologist will present “Severe Weather Discussion: The ingredients necessary and the difference between storm watches and storm warnings”
