Downsville Ruritan Carnival
WHEN and WHAT TIME: Through  Saturday, June 22 .
WHERE: Bryon Memorial Park in Williamsport,
WHAT YOU’LL SEE: They will have rides, games, bingo and of course food.

Relay For Life
WHEN and WHAT TIME: Friday, 6 pm
WHERE: Hagerstown Fairgrounds Park, off Cleveland Ave entrance on Soccer Fields
WHAT YOU’LL SEE: The Love Boat will be docked at Fairgrounds Park tonight! Well at least different ports of call you can visit. The premier fundraiser tool of the American Cancer Society, Relay For Life is open to the public during the evening activities which include opening ceremony, survivor speaker, live music, DJ, activities for young children and middle school age, special visits by area mascots, moving luminiarias ceremony honoring and remembering our survivors and so much more..
COST: There is no admission fee but we ask that you bring money and support our on site fundraisers

Free Movie
WHEN and WHAT TIME: Friday 7 pm
WHERE: Smithsburg Library, 66 W Water St Smithsburg
WHAT YOU’LL SEE: Come and see “Life of Pi” The story about an Indian Boy named Pi, who after his ship sinks finds himself stranded on a life boat with a ferocious Bengal tiger (PG)

Family Fun Day
WHEN and WHAT TIME: Saturday 11 am to 2 pm
WHERE: The Mental Health Center, 1180 Professional Court, Hagerstown
WHAT YOU’LL SEE: Open to the general public, the Mental Health Center’s Family Fun Day is the last event in a series to celebrate their 20th anniversary.   Planned activities include rides, games, snacks, face painting, balloon sculptures and many other family friendly activities.
Peek into Space
WHEN and WHAT TIME: Saturday 2 pm
WHERE: Discovery Station, 101 W Washington St, Hagerstown
WHAT YOU’LL SEE: The Saturday Plus program will feature a presentation on the International Space Station

Pegasus Flight for Cancer
WHEN and WHAT TIME: Saturday 9 am to 4pm
WHERE: Pegasus Radio Control Airplane Club, Old Forge Rd, Hagerstown
WHAT YOU’LL SEE: This a benefit for the John R Marsh Cancer Center’s Patient Fund and will feature aerial demonstrations, static displays, Humane Society of Washington County, food, inflatable for the children and RC simulators.

Teen after Hours Movie
WHEN and WHAT TIME: Saturday 1 to 3 pm
WHERE: Hancock War Memorial Library, 220 Park Rd, Hancock
WHAT YOU’LL SEE: The afternoon will include “The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey” PG 13 –and snack on Hobbit favorite foods.

Pen Mar Dance Concert

Civil War Game Day
WHEN and WHAT TIME: Sunday 1 to 4
WHERE: Washington County Museum of Fine Arts, City Park, Hagerstown
WHAT YOU’LL SEE: Children ages 5 to 12 are invited to play games from the Civil War Era. Games include table top nine pins, dominoes, marbles, graces (hoops), ball and cup, Jacob’s Ladder ,cards, dice, tops and yoyos

Hagerstown Municipal Band
WHEN and WHAT TIME: Sunday 7 pm
WHERE: City Park’s Peter Buys Band Shell, off Virginia Ave, Hagerstown
WHAT YOU’LL SEE: Andrew Stadler will be trumpet soloist and join trumpet player Alex Grisos for a duet. Selections include “Emblem of Unity March” by Richards and “Wicked” by Schwartz/Bocook
