Relay For Life of Southern Washington Count y
WHEN and WHAT TIME: Friday, 7 pm
WHERE: Washington County Ag Center – Off Sharpsburg Pike
WHAT YOU’LL SEE: Come out and support Cancer Survivors and their caregivers as we fight back against cancer.
COST: There is no admission fee but we ask that you bring money and support our on site fundraisers

Free Movie
WHEN and WHAT TIME: Saturday 7 pm
WHERE: Bridge of Life S Potomac St Downtown
WHAT YOU’LL SEE: They will be presenting “Monsters Inc” the story of Monsters generate their city’ power by scaring children, by they are terribly afraid themselves of being contaminated by children, so when one enters monstroplois, top scarcer Suller finds his world disrupted .

To Garrison the Fort
WHEN and WHAT TIME: Hours are Saturday 10 am to 4pm and Sunday 10 am to 3 pm
WHERE: Fort Frederick State Park, 11100 Fort Frederick Rd, Big Pool
WHAT YOU’LL SEE: Experience life at the fort during the French and Indian war this weekend as the members of the recreated Joshua Beall’s Company and Alexander Beal’s Company garrison the fort. Planned activities included musket and cannon firing, hearth cooking demonstration, uniform and clothing talk and children’s military drills.
COST The admission fee is $3 per car load, $5 for out of state vehicles.

Young Eagles
WHEN and WHAT TIME: Saturday 8 to 11:30 am
WHERE: Hagerstown Regional Airport, Airport Firehouse, 18434 Showalter Rd


WHAT YOU’LL SEE: The Experimental Aircraft Association (EAA) Chapter 36 will be offering free airplane rides for ages 7 to 17, weather permitting They will also have a pancake breakfast and several types of aircraft on display. The event will run from 8 to 11:30 am.

Dukes Family Fest
WHEN and WHAT TIME: Saturday –Gates open at 9 a.m.; autographs 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
WHERE: Hagerstown Speedway, 15112 National Pike, west of Hagerstown
WHAT YOU’LL SEE: The Hagerstown Speedway will be buzzing this Saturday, June 22 when Catherine Bach “Daisy Duke” will join all the excitement as they celebrate the Dukes Family Fest. Featuring “Cooter’s” Garage Band, Shiloh Ridge Bluegrass Band, kids activities and games, car show, HOPWF Wrestling, quarter midget racing, magician, hands-on community safety activities and more all day.  .. Pen Mar Dance Concert

Art in the Park continues…
WHEN and WHAT TIME: Sunday 1 pm
WHERE: City Park Band Shell
WHAT YOU’LL SEE: Arts in the Park presents Walker Performing Arts, Hagerstown Children’s Theater in City Park on Sunday June 23, 2013 at 1:00PM. Performed by the area’s freshest talent and youngest troupe of playmakers, this free, fun entertainment for families of all ages showcases the artistic and creative expression of local youth.

The Hagerstown Children’s Theater will perform musical theater highlights from their past season as well as scenes from Broadway Favorites on the band shell stage. The group also plans to feature big band style instrumental performances and a demo dance class taught by Walker Performing Arts Dance Instructors.

This event is the fifth in the 2013 series of Arts in the Park, a bi-weekly, seasonal community service brought to the district by a coalition of public servants, actively participating citizens, and artists.

Arts in the Park events held every other weekend through the 2013 season were made possible through dedication of citizens united to promote the arts among, from within the public; a community alliance including Historic City Park Neighborhoods 1st, the City of Hagerstown, and participating community organizations.

Hagerstown Municipal Band
WHEN and WHAT TIME: Sunday 730 pm
WHERE: City Park’s Peter Buys Band Shell, off Virginia Ave, Hagerstown
WHAT YOU’LL SEE: Selections include “Circus Bee March” by Fillmore, Concerto for Trombone by Rimsky-Kordakov, “Latin’s at Large” by Bennet and “Colonel Wade’s Twin Sister by Holsinger are on the schedule.
