Trains
WHEN and WHAT TIME: Friday, Saturday and Sunday 1 to 5 pm
WHERE: Hagerstown Roundhouse Museum, 300 S Burhans Blvd, Hagerstown
WHAT YOU’LL SEE: Come and check out the trains for kids to run, historical railroad equipment, artifacts and photos
COST: $5 adults, 50 cents ages 4 to 12 and free for ages 3 and younger

Retreat Through Williamsport
WHEN and WHAT TIME: Friday – Sunday
WHERE: Bryon Memorial Park and other locations in Williamsport
WHAT YOU’LL SEE: Civil War comes to life this weekend in Williamsport. Starting on Friday evening with the showing of “Pursuing the Retreat” followed by a roundtable discussion of the movie and other related topics. Saturday and Sunday will bring re-enactors, artillery, infantry and cavalry  demonstrations, reenactments of battles, speakers, a Period Barn Dance, Period Church Service, March to Falling waters and much more.

Tractor Pull time!
WHEN and WHAT TIME: Saturday at 6 pm
WHERE: Washington County Agricultural and Education Center, 7303 Sharpsburg Pike, Boonsboro
WHAT YOU’LL SEE: The East Coast Pullers and Washington County Tractor Pullers will host a Tractor Pull Scheduled classes are SS/PS tractors, Multi-Engine Modified Tractors, FWD Modified Trucks, TWD Modified Trucks, and Pro Stock Diesel FWD Trucks. Rain date is Sunday, July 14th at 2 pm.
COST Admission is $15 per person 10 and under free.

Kids Fest
WHEN and WHAT TIME: Saturday 9 am to 1 pm
WHERE: Robinwood Church of God, 12030 Warrenfeltz Lane, Hagerstown
WHAT YOU’LL SEE: Come and enjoy crafts, stories, balloons, face painting, games and food.

Classic Car show – “Christmas in July”
WHEN and WHAT TIME: Saturday
WHERE: behind the JCPenney’s at the Valley Mall, 17301 Valley Mall Rd, Hagerstown.
WHAT YOU’LL SEE: The Classic Car Group will present “Christmas in July”. This event will benefit the Shiners, food banks and Toys for Tots.Entry fee for cars is $5 plus a new unwrapped toy worth at least $5 or a nonperishable food item
COST There is no admission fee to look at the cars.
   
 
Pen Mar Dance Concert
WHEN and WHAT TIME: Sunday 2 to 5 pm
WHERE: Pen Mar Park off Pen Mar High Rock Road, near Cascade
WHAT YOU’LL SEE: Arrow Trio  will provide music for ballroom dancing

Hagerstown Municipal Band

WHERE: City Park’s Peter Buys Band Shell, off Virginia Ave, Hagerstown
WHAT YOU’LL SEE: Selections include “Drummers Delight” “My Fair Lady” and “Beautiful Savior”

WEEK DAY Fun – Fort Frederick Demos for Kids
WHEN and WHAT TIME: Weekdays 10 am t o 5 pm through Monday Sept. 2
WHERE: Fort Frederick State Park, 11100 Fort Frederick Rd Big Pool
WHAT YOU’LL SEE: Fort Frederick presents activities from the daily life of French and Indian War Soldiers, such as flag raising and lowering ceremonies and musket firing practice. Special drills for children
COST $3 carload, $5 for out of state cars

WHERE: Washington County Historical Society, The Miller House, 135 W. Washington St., downtown Hagerstown
WHAT YOU’LL SEE:  “Made in Washington County: Our Rich Industrial Heritage” is the story of businesses in this area and how they have survived and thrived.
COST Cost: $5 for adults, $3 for senior citizens and students; free for children ages 14 and younger
