Trains
WHEN and WHAT TIME: Friday, Saturday and Sunday 1 to 5 pm
WHERE: Hagerstown Roundhouse Museum, 300 S Burhans Blvd, Hagerstown
WHAT YOU’LL SEE: Come and check out the trains for kids to run, historical railroad equipment, artifacts and photos
COST: $5 adults, 50 cents ages 4 to 12 and free for ages 3 and younger

Washington County Ag Expo and Fair
WHEN and WHAT TIME: Friday and Saturday
WHERE: Washington County Agricultural Education Center, 7313 Sharpsburg Pike, Sharpsburg
WHAT YOU’LL SEE: Country Fair livestock show, demolition derby, lawn mower races, good fun, great fun for the whole family

Williamsport C&O Canal launch boat
WHEN and WHAT TIME: Saturdays and Sundays at 10:30 am , 12:!5, 1:30 and 3 pm thru Saturday, Aug 17
WHERE: C&O Canal visitor center 205 W Potomac St, Williamsport
WHAT YOU’LL SEE: Come and check out the interpretive C&O Canal launch boat program

Car show to benefit BSA Troop 17
WHEN and WHAT TIME: Saturday 8 am to 2 pm
WHERE: Bryon Memorial Park, off Potomac St in Williamsport
WHAT YOU’LL SEE: Come and check out the cars at the Car Show to benefit Williamsport’s Boy Scout Troop 17.  There will be vendors, a DJ and food available to purchase from the Williamsport High School Blue Band.
COST Admission for cars is $15 and dash plaques and trophies will be awarded. There is no admission fee to look at the cars

Faire Off the Square
WHEN and WHAT TIME: Saturday 9 am to 2 pm
WHERE: Elizabeth Hager Center Lot – City Center, Downtown Hagerstown
WHAT YOU’LL SEE: Come and check out this event organized by the Downtown Alliance and hosted by Hagerstown Area Religious Council (HARC). Featuring artisan vendors, entertainment, and yard sale section

Community Outreach and Public Safety Day
WHEN and WHAT TIME: Saturday 11 -1 pm
WHERE: Kaplan University, Hagerstown Campus, 18618 Crestwood Dr, Hagerstown
WHAT YOU’LL SEE: Featuring information/displays from child recovery id program, fresh produce food drop, the Humane Society, Antietam Dairy, Longmeadow Vol Fire Co, Blood pressure screenings, WC Sheriff’s Dept, Safe Place, Community Action Council, fun activities for kids and more.

It is a British Invasion
WHEN and WHAT TIME: Saturday 2 pm
WHERE: The Maryland Theatre, 21 S Potomac St, Downtown Hagerstown
WHAT YOU’LL SEE: The Performing Arts Academy will end their summer camp with the production of “British Invasion” Saturday, July 27 at 2 pm at the Maryland Theatre. The show will celebrate scenes, songs and dances from favorite movies, plays, books and musicians from across the Atlantic Ocean.

Hagerstown Municipal Band
WHEN and WHAT TIME: Sunday 730 pm
WHERE: City Park’s Peter Buys Band Shell, off Virginia Ave, Hagerstown
WHAT YOU’LL SEE: This week the HMB features Michelle Reed as French Horn soloist.  She will perform the first movement from “Horn Concerto #1” by Strauss and “When the Saints Go Marchin’ In” with a French Horn Quartet.  Michael Mogensen returns to the band to conduct his own piece, “September.”

WEEK DAY Fun – Fort Frederick Demos for Kids

WHAT YOU’LL SEE: Fort Frederick presents activities from the daily life of French and Indian War Soldiers, such as flag raising and lowering ceremonies and musket firing practice. Special drills for children
