Trains
WHEN and WHAT TIME: Friday, Saturday and Sunday 1 to 5 pm
WHERE: Hagerstown Roundhouse Museum, 300 S Burhans Blvd, Hagerstown
WHAT YOU’LL SEE: Come and check out the trains for kids to run, historical railroad equipment, artifacts and photos
COST: $5 adults, 50 cents ages 4 to 12 and free for ages 3 and younger

Clear Spring Carnival
WHEN and WHAT TIME: Thru  August 3rd
WHERE: Clear Spring Carnival Grounds, Big Spring Rd, Clear Spring
WHAT YOU’LL SEE: Come out for the food, rides, amusements and free nightly entertainment at 7 and 10 pm rain or shine the schedule is Friday  –  Staff Infection     ( Classic Rock );  Saturday  –  The Reagan Years   ( Classic Rock )

Classic Car Cruise in
WHEN and WHAT TIME: Friday 6 -9 pm
WHERE: Bryon Memorial Park Williamsport
WHAT YOU’LL SEE: Come and check out the cars and other actitices during the “Elvis in the Park” event. Food will be available to purchase

Screens on the Green
WHEN and WHAT TIME: Friday 8/2 9 to 11 pm
WHERE: University Plaza, West Washington Street, downtown Hagerstown.
WHAT YOU’LL SEE: The Maryland International Film Festival Hagerstown will host seven festival short films. They suggest you bring a blanket or chair. Beer, wine and snacks will be sold.

Williamsport C&O Canal launch boat
WHEN and WHAT TIME: Saturdays and Sundays at 10:30 am , 12:!5, 1:30 and 3 pm thru Saturday, Aug 17

The Civil War and Today – the US Army Signal Corps
WHEN and WHAT TIME: Saturday and Sunday 11 am to 5 pm
WHERE: Pry House Field Hospital Museum, 18906 Shepherdstown Pike, Keedysville
WHAT YOU’LL SEE: Civil War living historians will join members of the modern US Army’s 114th Signal Battalion to teach and demonstrate the importance and practices of the US Army Signal Corps during the Civil War and today
COST Admission is a suggested donation of $5

WHERE: City Park’s Peter Buys Band Shell, off Virginia Ave, Hagerstown
WHAT YOU’LL SEE: This week the HMB features Brian Hinkley as trombone soloist.  He will perform the first movement from “Concerto for Trombone” by Walker as well as “Reflective Mood” by Nestico.

WEEK DAY Fun – Fort Frederick Demos for Kids
WHEN and WHAT TIME: Weekdays 10 am t o 5 pm through Monday Sept. 2
WHERE: Fort Frederick State Park, 11100 Fort Frederick Rd Big Pool
WHAT YOU’LL SEE: Fort Frederick presents activities from the daily life of French and Indian War Soldiers, such as flag raising and lowering ceremonies and musket firing practice. Special drills for children
