Red White and Blue Concert Series – US Air Force Concert Band
WHEN and WHAT TIME: Friday 6:15
WHERE: Hagerstown Community College Alumni Amphitheater, off Robin wood Dr, east of Hagerstown
WHAT YOU’LL SEE: The US Air Force Concert Band will perform

Corn Maze
WHEN and WHAT TIME: Opens Saturday August 31 They will be open weekends in September and October Hours: Fridays 5-10 pm / Saturdays Noon-10 pm / Sundays Noon-5 pm with a Special hours on Labor day September 2, 2013  Noon to 6 pm
WHERE: Celebration Farm, 17638 Garden View Road, Hagerstown
WHAT YOU’LL SEE: The Hagerstown Corn Maze reopens this Saturday, August 31st with 3 mazes to choose from this year. Guests may complete all or just one of the mazes for the same price. All proceeds go to local faith-based non profits.
COST Admission is $6 for ages 13 and up; $3 for ages 5 to 12 and free for children 4 and under.

Boonsborough Days
WHEN and WHAT TIME: Saturday and Sunday 8 am to 5pm
WHERE: Shafer Park, Boonsboro
WHAT YOU’LL SEE: The Boonsboro Historical Society hosts their annual Craft Fesitval filled with craft and food vendors, antiques, collectibles, trolley rides and much more.

Latin American Food Fest
WHEN and WHAT TIME: Saturday from 11 m to 4 pm
WHERE: El Eden Restaurant, Subway and Boost Parking Lot, 1201 Dual Highway, Hagerstown
WHAT YOU’LL SEE: Latin American Cuisine Celebration features food from Spain, Colombia, Peru, Chile, Dominican Republic, Guatemala, Mexico, El Salvador, Venezuela, Ecuador and Bolivia. Entertainment will include Etnika Foundation Folkloric Ballet, free salsa and bachata lessons

Mapping the Process of Antietam Battlefield
WHEN and WHAT TIME: Saturday 2 pm
WHERE: Antietam National Battlefield visitor center auditorium off Sharpsburg Pike, Sharpsburg
WHAT YOU’LL SEE: Jamesina Thatcher has been studying the mapping process of Antietam Battlefield and the special terrain features identifies on those maps. Following the talk there will be a short walking tour. Sponsored by Save Historic Antietam Foundation

Pen Mar Concert Series
WHEN and WHAT TIME: Sunday, 2 to 5 pm

Preparedness in the Park
WHEN and WHAT TIME: Tuesday Sept 10 – 11 am – 2 pm
WHERE: City Park, Ball Field Area
WHAT YOU’LL SEE: This event includes family disaster kit preparation for the first 100 families, bomb robot demonstrations, blood pressure screenings, prescription drug drop off, explore a state police helicopter, SWAT vehicle and other emergency vehicles on site.
Annual 9/11 Remembrance Parade
WHEN and WHAT TIME: Wednesday, Sept 11 6:30 pm
WHERE: Main Street, Boonsboro
WHAT YOU’LL SEE: In memory of fire, rescue and law enforcement personnel that lost their lives on Sept. 11, 2001. Sponsored by the First Hose Company of Boonsboro
Sharpsburg Ghost Tour
WHEN and WHAT TIME: Wednesday 6:30 pm
WHERE: Starts at Town Square, Sharpsburg
WHAT YOU’LL SEE: Ninety minute walking tour of Sharpsburg with a guide in period tour costume
