Trains
WHEN   and WHAT TIME: Friday,   Saturday and Sunday 1 to 5 pm
WHERE: Hagerstown   Roundhouse Museum, 300 S Burhans Blvd, Hagerstown
WHAT   YOU’LL SEE: Come and check   out the trains for kids to run, historical railroad equipment, artifacts and   photos
COST: $5 adults, 50   cents ages 4 to 12 and free for ages 3 and younger

Corn   Maze
WHEN   and WHAT TIME: Opens   Saturday August 31 They will be open weekends in September and October Hours:   Fridays 5-10 pm / Saturdays Noon-10 pm / Sundays Noon-5 pm with a Special   hours on Labor day September 2, 2013    Noon to 6 pm
WHERE: Celebration Farm, 17638 Garden View Road, Hagerstown
WHAT   YOU’LL SEE: The Hagerstown Corn Maze reopens this   Saturday, August 31st with 3 mazes to choose from this year. Guests may   complete all or just one of the mazes for the same price. All proceeds go to   local faith-based non profits.
COST Admission is $6 for ages 13 and up; $3 for   ages 5 to 12 and free for children 4 and under.

Misty Meadow’s Corn Maze and Pumpkin Patch
WHEN   and WHAT TIME: Open Monday- Saturday 10 am – 6 pm, Sunday   1 – 6 pm.
WHERE: Misty Meadow Farm Creamery, 14325 Misty   Meadows Rd , Smithsburg
WHAT   YOU’LL SEE: From now until November 3rd, you need to   come and check out the 8 acre corn maze with educational questions and   activities, rope mazes, duck race, corn box, pedal tractors, play area,   weekend hayrides, and more.

Hagerstown   City Park Ghost Tours
WHEN   and WHAT TIME: They   have 2 tours available at 7, 8 and 9 pm on Friday October 18th, Saturday,   October 19th and Friday October 25th and Saturday October 26th.
WHERE: City Park , Hagerstown
WHAT   YOU’LL SEE:  The first tour is about the Hager House and   the second is a tour through all the haunted spots in City Park.
COST Tickets are $5 per tour with reservation and $6 on site – but remember   space is limited or you can save a little money if you do both tours.

Down on the   Farm Petting Zoo
WHEN   and WHAT TIME: Saturdays   and Sundays though Nov 2 from 1 to 4 pm
WHERE: 8778 Jordan Rd Fairplay
WHAT   YOU’LL SEE: Petting Zoo, corn   maze, hayride, pumpkins and corn stalks will be for sale. Come check out all   the family fun

Field Of   Terror
WHEN   and WHAT TIME: October 18, 19, 25 & 26th
WHERE: Star Community 13757 Broadfording Church Rd   , Hagerstown
WHAT   YOU’LL SEE: There back… Star Community is once again   this year presenting their Field of Terror – a haunted corn maze. It is open   from 7:30 – 10:30 pm with “no scare” hours for families with young children   from 2:30 – 6 pm.

They are also having a Zombie Run on   October 19th – where participants can run for their lives on a 2 or 4 mile   course from the lurking Zombies and other creatures.  The run starts at 5 pm. Registration is $25   without a t-shirt and $30 with a t-shirt.

COST Tickets are $10 per person – with the “no   scare” tickets at $5 per person.

Fright on the   Frontier
WHEN   and WHAT TIME: Saturday October 19th
WHERE: Fort Frederick State Park, 11100 Fort   Frederick Rd, Big Pool
WHAT   YOU’LL SEE: Come and join the fun as Western Maryland   legends and scary stories come to life as you walk through the supernatural   night time park. All the fun will happen on– Programs begins at 7 pm and all   visitors who arrive and are in line by 9 pm will have the opportunity to   walk. This program is not suitable for young children.
COST An admission fee will be charged.

WHAT   YOU’LL SEE: This is a benefit for UNICEF, and good for   all ages. With more than 10 rooms ranging from scary to activity based and   there will be candy

4th   Annual Living History Day
WHEN   and WHAT TIME: Saturday, October 19th 10 am to 4 pm
WHERE: Washington County Rural Heritage Museum, 7313   Sharpsburg Pike, Boonsboro
WHAT   YOU’LL SEE: Come and experience rural life in   Washington County during the 1800’s. The Village and farmstead will be open   with demonstrations in both.
COST No admission fee but donations are welcome

Beaver Creek School Museum /Harvest   Festival
WHEN   and WHAT TIME: Saturday   October 19  9 am – 2:30 m
WHERE: 9702 Beaver Creek Church Rd, Hagerstown
WHAT   YOU’LL SEE: Come and check out the museum and Beaver   Creeks Christian Church for their Harvest Festival. Tours and period games   for elementary school aged children at the 1904 schoolhouse museum led by the   Washington County Historical Society. Yard Sale begins at 8 am and the   festival runs from 9 am to 230 pm. Food will be available to purchase and   they will raffle off a quilt.

Fort Ritchie Craft Bazaar and Car Show
WHEN   and WHAT TIME: Saturday   October 19th 9-3
WHERE: Fort Ritchie Community Center, Cascade
WHAT   YOU’LL SEE: They expect 50-60 craft vendors, and will   have  car/bike/ truck show, food   available to purchase, music, door prizes and family friendly activities

Open Plane Day
WHEN   and WHAT TIME: Sunday, October 20th from 1 to 4 pm
WHERE: Hagerstown Aircraft Services, 14235 Oak   Springs Rd, Hagerstown
WHAT   YOU’LL SEE: Come and climb into the cockpit of a C-82,   C-119 Flying Boxcar, PT-26 WWII Trainer and the 1928 Kreider Reisner KR-31   Biplane. All these planes where built in Hagerstown and will be available to   tour. This is the last open plane event until May 2014

Jewish Food Festival
WHEN   and WHAT TIME: Sunday October 20 from 11:30 am to 230 pm
WHERE: Congregation B’nai Abraham, 53 E Baltimore   St, Hagerstown
WHAT   YOU’LL SEE: Come and tempt your taste buds with Jewish   delicacies, including brisket, stuffed cabbage, blintzes, chopper liver,   kugel, matzah ball soup, ala carte to eat in or carry out at the Jewish Food Festival   on, at the Congregation B’nai Abraham. In addition, there will be a “bakery”   with homemade baked goods and breads. Informative tours of the sanctuary will   be offered for those who are interested
