Trains
WHEN   and WHAT TIME: Friday,   Saturday and Sunday 1 to 5 pm
WHERE: Hagerstown   Roundhouse Museum, 300 S Burhans Blvd, Hagerstown
WHAT   YOU’LL SEE: Come   and check out the trains for kids to run, historical railroad equipment,   artifacts and photos
COST: $5   adults, 50 cents ages 4 to 12 and free for ages 3 and younger

Public Ice   Skating
WHEN   and WHAT TIME: Friday   from 7 to 8:50 pm; Saturday, November 2nd from 3 to 4:50 pm, Sunday November   3 from 2:30 to 3:50 and Monday from noon to 1:50 pm.
WHERE: Hagerstown Ice and Sports Complex, 580 Security Rd, Hagerstown
WHAT   YOU’LL SEE: Come and check out ice skating
COST Admission is $6 a person and includes skate rental – socks are required.

WHAT   YOU’LL SEE: Antietam National Battlefield Illuminations

 

Twinkling lights will spread across the battlefield Saturday, December 6th   as they honor the 23,110 soldiers who fell during the Battle of   Antietam.  The gates for the   illumination will open at 6 pm at the Battlefield entrance on Rt 34 in   Sharpsburg. Charlie Brown Christmas
WHEN   and WHAT TIME: Saturday   December  and Sunday the 8th and   Saturday December 13th4 and Sunday December 15th The event is open from 3-8   pm each day.
WHERE: The Springfield Barn is located off Springfield Rd, in Williamsport
WHAT   YOU’LL SEE: The Springfield Barn will be hopping this as the barn comes alive with the   lights of Christmas. With over 90 trees decorated by many local groups you   will be amazed at the beauty. You can also visit with Santa and Buster the Talking   Bear, or check out the prayer tree and the trains and take a horse drawn   wagon rides. Be sure to look for a bear in every tree.

City   Park Lighting
WHEN   and WHAT TIME: Saturday,   December 7th 6 pm
WHERE: Hagerstown City Park
WHAT   YOU’LL SEE: As   they illuminated the Christmas tree and other decorations on the lake and   throughout the park. They will also have refreshments, music and other   activities at the Hager House, Museum of Fine Arts and the Mansion House Art   Gallery.

Visitors should stop by the Museum to complete the annual holiday   scavenger hunt between 6 to 8:30 pm.    All activities are free and open to the public.

Rural   Heritage Village by Candlelight
 
WHEN   and WHAT TIME: Friday   December 6th 6 to9 pm
WHERE: Washington County Rural Heritage Museum, at 7313 Sharpsburg Pike,   Boonsboro
WHAT   YOU’LL SEE: Come   and see how children celebrated the holiday season during the 1800’s in   Washington County, Enjoy guided candlelight tour of the Rural Heritage   Village. The event is open from and will be held at the.
COST $10 per family or $5 a single

Williamsport   Lighting
WHEN   and WHAT TIME: Friday   December 6th starting at 7 pm.
WHERE: Bryon Memorial Park
WHAT   YOU’LL SEE: Parade   was cancelled due to the rain but the Tree Lighting will still happen.

Olde Tyme   Christmas in Boonsboro
WHEN   and WHAT TIME: Friday   Dec 6 6:30 pm

WHAT   YOU’LL SEE: Christmas parade with   Santa. The lighting of the town tree, luminaries, music and children’s   activities.

German   Christmas
WHEN   and WHAT TIME: Firday,   Saturday 10 am – 4pm and Sunday Noon – 4pm
WHERE: Hager House
WHAT   YOU’LL SEE: The Hager House will be open to guests for a traditional German Christmas   celebration.  Tour admission is not   required, but donations will be encouraged!
COST Admission is $3 for adults and children ages 12 years and up, $2 for   seniors and children ages 6 – 11 years, and free for children ages 5 years or   younger.
