Public Ice Skating
WHEN and WHAT TIME: Friday from 7 to 8:50 pm; Saturday, from 3 to 4:50 pm, Sunday from 2:30 to 3:50 and Monday from noon to 1:50 pm.
WHERE: Hagerstown Ice and Sports Complex, 580 Security Rd, Hagerstown
WHAT YOU’LL SEE: Come and check out ice skating
COST Admission is $6 a person and includes skate rental – socks are required.

The Great Boonsboro Carnival
WHEN and WHAT TIME: May 23rd thru May 31st
WHERE: Shafer Park in Boonsboro.
WHAT YOU’LL SEE: The kitchen opens nightly at 5 pm and they have free nightly entertainment -2 shows each night at 7 and 9 pm. The schedule is Friday May 23, Sticktime, May 24 Trouble Brewin, May 25 The Reagan Years, May 26 The Davisson Brothers , May 27 Rock & Roll Relics, May 28 Lowdown Grass Kickers, May 29 “Elvis” Tribute Artist, Friday May 30 Staff Infection and fireworks at 11 pm, Saturday May 31 Lost Highway.
COST Free admission bring money for games, rides and food
 
Families and Friends in Nature in Fort Frederick
WHEN and WHAT TIME: Saturday, May 24 and Sunday May 25 10 am to 4 pm
WHERE: Fort Frederick Park, 11100 Fort Frederick Rd, Big Pool
WHAT YOU’LL SEE: Explore the natural side of the park with the self guided and staff led outdoor nature and recreation activities for all interests’ levels and ages.
COST: Fee may be charged for admission to park
 
Model Trains
WHEN and WHAT TIME: Saturday and Sunday 1 to 5 pm
WHERE: Hagerstown Railroad Museum, 296 S Burhans Blvd, Hagerstown
WHAT YOU’LL SEE: Come and check out all the trains.
COST Admission is $5 and 50 cents for ages 12 and younger

Halfway Park Days
WHEN and WHAT TIME: Saturday May 24 9 am t o 7 pm and Sunday May 25 from 9 am to 5 pm
WHERE: Halfway Park, off Halfway Blvd, Hagerstown
WHAT YOU’LL SEE: Vendors with items including games, homemade arts and crafts, informational tents and food
COST Free admission

Memorial Day Remembrance
WHEN and WHAT TIME: Saturday May 24th – 9:30 am
WHERE: Rose Hill Cemetery, 600 S Potomac St, Hagerstown.
WHAT YOU’LL SEE: Event includes remembrance service, speaker, bagpiper, honor guard, Civil War re-enactors and light refreshments.
COST Free

Memorial Day Commemoration
WHEN and WHAT TIME: Saturday May 24th 11 am start
WHERE: Sharpsburg
WHAT YOU’LL SEE: 11 am wreath laying 11:45 am Rohrersville Band concert 1:30 pm Annual Parade Followed by Antietam National Cemetery program

Saturday Plus at   Discovery Station
WHEN and WHAT TIME: Saturday, May 24th at 2 pm
WHERE: Discovery Station, 101 W Washington St Downtown Hagerstown
WHAT YOU’LL SEE: In honor of Memorial Day, they will recognize Sqt. Kevin Jaye, Washington County Technical High School graduate and wounded in Afghanistan. As a Blue Star Museum, Discovery Station will offer free admission to active military personnel and reservists and their immediate family all year.
COST Free with paid admission fee

Truck and Tractor Pull
WHEN and WHAT TIME: Saturday May 24th at 6 pm
WHERE: Washington County Agricultural Education Center, 7313 Sharpsburg Pike, south of Hagerstown
WHAT YOU’LL SEE: Washington County Tractor Pulls and East Coast Pullers LLC, Lucas Oil Pro Pulling League National Truck and Tractor Pull will present this event. Classes include multi engine modified tractors, wheel standing 2 wheel drive trucks, smoking super stock and pro-stock tractors, smoking pro stock diesel four wheel drive trucks and the Lucas Oil Champions Tour hot rod semis. Pulling vehicles will be on display at Hoffman Dodge from noon to 4 pm on Friday, May 23rd .
COST Tickets are $15, free for ages 9 and younger.
