Miss Maryland and Miss Maryland Outstanding Teen Scholarship Pageant
WHEN and WHAT TIME: June 25-28
WHERE: Maryland Theatre
WHAT YOU’LL SEE: The Miss Maryland and Miss Maryland Outstanding Teen Pageant are returning to the area once again this year with events thru Saturday June 28. Come watch Maryland’s best as they vie for the title of Miss Maryland and Miss Maryland’s Outstanding Teen. The Miss Maryland/Miss Maryland Outstanding Teen Pageants are official preliminaries to Miss America and Miss America’s Outstanding Teen competitions, the world’s largest scholarship organization for woman.

Shakespeare in the Park
WHEN and WHAT TIME: Friday, June 27 and Saturday, June 28th 8 pm
WHERE: University System of Maryland Plaza, 32 W Washington St, downtown Hagerstown.
WHAT YOU’LL SEE: Come and watch Shakespeare in the Park. “A Midsummer Night’s Dream” a comedy involving trick fairies, young love and a royal wedding, performed by local professional amateur actors. This production is appropriate for the whole family

Canal Boat Program
WHEN and WHAT TIME: Saturdays and Sundays through Labor Day
WHERE: Williamsport C&O Canal Visitor Center, off US 11 in Williamsport
WHAT YOU’LL SEE: Come check out the one hour interpretive program at 1030 am, 12:15 pm, 1:30 pm and 3 pm
COST Free but resverations will be taken on the day of the tour

Model Trains
WHEN and WHAT TIME: Saturday and Sunday 1 to 5 pm
WHERE: Hagerstown Railroad Museum, 296 S Burhans Blvd, Hagerstown
WHAT YOU’LL SEE: Come and check out all the trains.
COST Admission is $5 and 50 cents for ages 12 and younger

Joys of Birdwatching
WHEN and WHAT TIME: Saturday, June 28th at 8 am
WHERE: Pangborn Park, 530 Pangborn Blvd, Hagerstown
WHAT YOU’LL SEE: Presented by the City of Hagerstown in partnership with the Washington County Bird Club – come and learn to identify by sight and sound the many bird species that inhabit the park this at.

Cruise In Celebrating 100th anniversary of 1914 Norwalk Motor Car
WHEN and WHAT TIME: Saturday June 28th from 10 am to 4 pm
WHERE: Washington County Agricultural Education Center, 7313 Sharpsburg Pike, south of Hagerstown
WHAT YOU’LL SEE: Take a blast to the past – and enjoy all the classic cars, along with tours of the center, food concessions, bake sale, raffles, door prizes, DJ, children’s table, crafts and flea market and more
COST Hosted by Friends of the Norwalk Foundation – it is $5 to show a car but general admission is free

Children’s Festival

Amateur Radio Field Day
WHEN and WHAT TIME: Saturday June 28th 2 pm
WHERE: Leitersburg Ruritan Community Park, 21431 Leiter St, Hagerstown
WHAT YOU’LL SEE: The Antietam Radio Association of Hagerstown will conduct live amateur radio demonstrations as part of its participation in ARRL Field Day. During the morning and early afternoon, several temporary stations will be set up to operate on emergency power just like “ham” radio operators have done in actual emergencies around the world
