Smithsburg Fireman Carnival
WHEN and WHAT TIME: Thur August 9th 6 to 11 pm shows at 7 and 10 pm
WHERE: Behind Smithsburg Fire Company, 22 N Main St Smithsburg
WHAT YOU’LL SEE: Ride all night tickets are $20. Entertainment Friday- Full Effect; Saturday – Steve Smith Band
COST Free admission bring money for food and rides
 
“Annie”
WHEN and WHAT TIME: With shows at 7 pm on Friday, August 8th, 2:30 and 7 pm on Saturday August 9th and 230 pm on Sunday, August 10th
WHERE: Maryland Theatre, 21 S Potomac St, downtown Hagerstown.
WHAT YOU’LL SEE: Authentic Community Theatre will present the musical “Annie” this weekend.
COST Tickets are $25 for adults and $10 for children

Canal Boat Program
WHEN and WHAT TIME: Saturdays and Sundays through Labor Day
WHERE: Williamsport C&O Canal Visitor Center, off US 11 in Williamsport
WHAT YOU’LL SEE: Come check out the one hour interpretive program at 1030 am, 12:15 pm, 1:30 pm and 3 pm
COST Free but reservations will be taken on the day of the tour

Model Trains
WHEN and WHAT TIME: Saturday and Sunday 1 to 5 pm
WHERE: Hagerstown Railroad Museum, 296 S Burhans Blvd, Hagerstown
WHAT YOU’LL SEE: Come and check out all the trains.
COST Admission is $5 and 50 cents for ages 12 and younger

Stamp Show
WHEN and WHAT TIME: Saturday August 9 2014
WHERE: Ramada Plaza Hotel 1718 Underpass way, Hagerstown
WHAT YOU’LL SEE: Stamp show featuring a dozen dealers of all types of philately, including stamps, postal history and postcards. The show will sell a Smokey Bear birthday cover and will be cancelled on August 9 the 70th birthday of the public service campaign in the United States

Garden Activity with Master Garden
WHEN and WHAT TIME: Saturday, August 9th 11 am to 2 pm
WHERE: Washington County Rural Heritage Museum, 7313 Sharpsburg Pike, Boonsboro
WHAT YOU’LL SEE: Educational information on four square, watering, four square children’s watering activity, medicinal gardening and herbal recipes

Back to school block party

WHERE: Parking lot behind Washington Square United Methodist Church, 538 Washington Ave, Hagerstown
WHAT YOU’LL SEE: Food, games, music, demonstrations form community law enforcement and school supplies for children. Parents must accompany their children in order to receive school supplies

Car Show

WHAT YOU’LL SEE: Rock to Victory. Car show to benefit children with special needs and their families
