152nd Anniversary of the Battle of South Mountain
WHEN and WHAT TIME: Saturday and Sunday, September 13-14
WHERE: South Mountain Battlefield
WHAT YOU’LL SEE: They will offer Ranger guided battlefield tours. For specific program times and locations check the park’s website. More information about any of the events listed above can be found on the park’s website

Model Trains
WHEN and WHAT TIME: Saturday and Sunday 1 to 5 pm

One Fort – Three Wars
WHEN and WHAT TIME: Saturday September 13th 10 am to 4 pm
WHERE: Fort Frederick State Park, Big Pool
WHAT YOU’LL SEE: One Fort: Three Wars — Through living history demonstrations discover the part Fort Frederick played during the French and Indian War, American Revolution and Civil War.

Farm Day at Ravenwood

Porchfest 2014
WHEN and WHAT TIME: Saturday September 13th from 2 to 6 pm.
WHERE: Porches on S Prospect between W Washington St and Park Circle
WHAT YOU’LL SEE: They have invited musicians to use their porches as stages, asked local restaurants to sell tasty food, and they are ready to let the rumpus begin. They have got professional bands signed on and lots of fun-loving amateurs. Plus they will have a kids’ porch and a couple of jam porches for folks who want to bring their own instruments and settle in for some casual music making. Thanks to the musicians — who are all playing voluntarily — Porchfest is free, and it’s open to everyone. BYO instrument, Blanket/Chair, Leashed pup, etc.

South Prospect Street, Hagerstown will be closed to traffic from W. Washington Street to Park Circle during the event.
