Captain Bender’s Heritage Festival

WHAT YOU’LL SEE: Food, entertainment, re-enactors, history and ghost tours, dunk and more. People will be surveys about anything they might know about or have witnessed in Sharpsburg from noon to 6 pm. Magical Music of Disney

WHAT YOU’LL SEE: The Maryland Symphony Orchestra will perform Disney music from the early classics to recent releases like Lion King, Beauty and the Beast, Mary Poppins, Little Mermaid and Tarzan

152nd Commemoration of the Battle of Antietam
WHEN and WHAT TIME: Saturday September 20th 1 to 4 pm
WHERE: Town Hall, 106 E Main St Sharpsburg
WHAT YOU’LL SEE: Free narrated walks will begin at noon – sign up at Town Hall. Self guided tour booklets are being sold at Historical society and Capt Benders

WHAT YOU’LL SEE: Historic and modern aircraft, and vintage cars, trucks and more. Rides will be offered in various aircraft. Experimental Aircraft Association Chapter will offer free airplane rides for youth 8 to 17 through its Young Eagles program

Bark For Life
WHEN and WHAT TIME: Sunday September 21st 2 pm
WHERE: Hagerstown Fairground Park – by Dog Park
WHAT YOU’LL SEE: Come and help take a bite out of Cancer. This is a fundraiser for the American Cancer Society and will include vendors, contests, a dog walk blessing of the animals and more.
COST $20 for the first dog and $5 for each extra one.
